4th Annual Mardi Gras Winemaker’s Ball

Join us for a formal Masquerade Ball at the Blufftop Bistro on Saturday February 23rd!

Black tie optional, masks welcome! This enchanting evening will include: 

  • an exquisite, four-course meal prepared by our executive chef David Cabanas
  • local wine & spirits
  • live music by Loose Loose
  • door prizes  
  • and crowning of a King & Queen

Hors d’oeuvres and aperitifs at 6:00 pm & dinner at 7:00 pm

The menu for the evening: 

  • Hors d’ oeuvres- 
    • Crawfish Ceviche: Citrus marinated crawfish on a bed of arugula & red onions, topped with pork belly cracklings
    • Deconstructed Po’ boy: Fried oysters atop grilled French bread, layered with remoulade slaw, pickled veggies & lemon
    • Chilled Creole Gazpacho 
  • First Course- 
    • Creole Salad with Peppercorn Crusted Steak & Crispy Pancetta: Mixed greens tossed in Creole vinaigrette, topped with red onion, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola, toasted almonds, green olives, &
      croutons, topped with peppercorn crusted steak & crispy pancetta, Paired with 2017 St. Vincent Dry Rosé 
  • Second Course- 
    • Seafood Fra Diavolo: Mussels, clams & shrimp in a spicy Fra Diavolo sauce atop linguini, Paired with 2017 Dry Vignoles 
  • Intermezzo: Blood orange sorbet with a Rocheport gastrique, & frozen, wine poached, sugar coated grapes 
  • Third Course- 
    • Southern Pork Roulade: Brined pork loin roulade stuffed with smoked cheddar, andouille grits, slow roasted with a sage jus, topped with toasted cornbread,served with southern wilted greens,
      Paired with 2016 Burning Barrel Norton 
  • Fourth Course- 
    • Bananas Foster: French vanilla bean ice cream topped with banana rum sauce, fried plantains, fresh mint, & blueberry whipped cream
