Our inaugural Farmer’s Dinner is an event that we have created to pay respect to the farmers, artisans, and creators that we work with on a regular basis here on The Blufftop.
We invite you to a dinner that includes 7 courses, 7 wines, and a featured panel of our local farmers and artisans.
L’Aperitif Rilette: Sullivan Farms Goat, tart cherry goat cheese mousse, rye crostini
Hors D’oeuvre Drumstick: Deboned Strope Farms Chicken, chicken liver pate, herbs
Poisson “Scallops”: Booneslick Heritage Farm Mushroom “Scallop”, clarified mushroom “Poisson” broth, micro green salad
Salade Radish: Shaved Happy Hollow Farm Radish, pickled beet, radish green, beet green, arugula, green goddess
Entrée Loin: Sullivan Farms roasted pork tenderloin, BLH Farm roasted mushroom, Strope Farms chicken demi glace, Hemme Brothers Creamery Brother’s Keeper grits, Happy Hollow Farm wilted arugula, The Veggie Patch assorted accoutrements
Fromage Assortment: Assorted Hemme Brothers Creamery cheese, assorted house jam, house cracker
Dessert Cake: Yet to be announced cake surprise featuring The Veggie Patch in honor of Chef Emilee’s birthday
We will be serving a cocktail hour starting at 5pm, followed by dinner at 6.
Our chefs will be presenting not only the courses that they have created, but the farmers that have been featured in each one, followed directly by our wine makers to explain each pairing.
Meet not only the chefs that have created your dishes, the winemakers that have created the drinks, but also the farmers that have produced all of the aspects of the meal.
Each ticket is $130 dollars with all tax and gratuity included.
