With its classic Garnet color, this cabernet sauvignon boasts aromatics of black cherry, herbaceous thyme, and earthy cedar. It’s medium full body with lush texture and firm tannins give way to bold flavors of red fruit and raspberry, accompanied by subtle notes oak perceived as dark chocolate and baking spice.
Howell mountain is one of the best parts of the Valley because of a high elevation. That leads to cooler temperatures, particularly at night. In the 2022 vintage, the rest of the valley reached temperatures above 110°, but because of the Vineyards high elevation, it was protected from that impact.
Wines from Howell are big bold and expressive. They feature bright fruit character, prominent Oak elements, and savory flavors. Despite that, they are well structured, and Balanced and age for decades.
