Chambourcin showcases how maverick
Chambourcin can be when it is young and
unoaked. Made through small batch bin
fermentation and briefly aged in stainless
steel, this wine showcases rich deep violet
color, and is exceptionally fruit forward with a
refreshing acidity. Bursting with notes of
blueberry on the nose and palate, this wine
offers a rare lightness unique to Missouri red
wines but not often seen in more widely
known regions. This trailblazing wine pairs
perfectly with fresh oysters or citrus grilled
scallops.
