Tickets are still available for the Collector’s Series Wine Relase Party and Art Show on July 16, 2022. This year will showcase three local artists work on display and for sale. Along with live music from MOSY, this wine release is one you don’t want to miss. Each wine has been paired with a delicious bite by our chefs. Last month we released our Blufftop Cellars, 2020 Reserve Viognier, have you tried it yet? This elegant, dry white wine showcases the beauty and potential of Missouri grown Viognier. The bouquet bursts out of the glass with enticing aromas of peach, jasmine, lily, citrus, pear, honeydew, and lemon curd. Seven months of aging on the lees in neutral oak provides a gentle structure and medium-body that balances a complex palate of bright acid, minerality, and mild salinity. The palate progresses with lemon meringue pie, ripe peaches, lemongrass, and citrus while the sip continuously evolves in the glass as the temperature changes. Sharing many refined attributes of Chenin Blanc, Albariño, and the great Viogniers of the world, this wine is truly a stunner and is perfect to be enjoyed right now. Missouri is not known for its Viognier, though this wine should alter that notion and will excite sommeliers and casual drinkers alike. All ingredients can be purchased at The Tasting Room as well so you can make these cocktails at home! Weekends only at The A-Frame is a featured slushy with RDCo brandy while supplies last. (They sell out almost every weekend!)
